Airtime is an exciting new streaming service provided exclusively to the hospitality sector. We have agreements in place to provide you with movies from major Hollywood Studios weeks before other consumer services. Airtime also brings you great dramas and award-winning documentaries from leading TV broadcasters, and whilst your guests are in the privacy of the hotel there’s always something a little more risqué from the mature audience leader, MindGeek. What’s more, there are no subscriptions; your guests just pay for what they watch!

We have a media rich library of over 100 titles so there is always something for every occasion, your guests just enter their payment details through our secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway and our content will stream straight to your hotel TV. Built by a team of experts with leading technology your guests stay will be enhanced by having the Airtime service available on the TV.

Airtime provides movies with multi-language support including English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, Portuguese, Polish and Turkish.

The speed of the internet connection required depends on the commercial models deployed as this effects the usage rates. The content is streamed using ABR (Adaptive Bit Rate) technology meaning the streams can run from as little as 1.2Mbps up to 5.2Mbps for the HD content.

There are two models available:

  • The Hybrid Free-To-Guest Model: Over 100 films and TV features are offered to the guest as part of their stay. Premium (c.12 -15 titles) and adult movies remain chargeable. There is no capital cost for the service.
  • The Guest Pay Model: The guest pays as they play the content via a secure payment gateway. There is a one-off administration fee but no ongoing costs to the hotel.

The two models can be combined to generate a premium service. E.g. VIP rooms can be given the Hybrid Free-To-Guest model and the standard rooms can be given the Guest Pay model.
